Chemistry
Introduction
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) chemistry syllabus is designed as two years courses for examination at age 16-plus. Cambridge IGCSE chemistry is accepted by universities and employers as proof of essential chemistry knowledge and ability.
Aims
The aims of the syllabus are the same for all students. The aims are to :
- Provide well-designed studies of experimental and practical science for all students.
- Develop abilities and skills of chemistry that are relevant in everyday life
- Develop attitudes relevant to Chemistry
- Stimulate interest in and care for the environment
- Promotes an awareness in the development of scientific theories and methods; related to other interdisciplinary; the community and the environment.
